Intense Reading...

In memory of many wondrous cue cards,

The jury system is in conflict with itself.

(United States v. Dougherty inspired this lovely quip, for Mike, et al.)

Anyway, need to get back to reading, but for the peanut gallery, I'm currently taking Torts, Contracts, and Criminal Law, as well as Legal Writing and Research. So far it's been awesomely fun.

If I get some comments together (and good Internet) I'll say more...

Hey, you turned on anonymous commenting. Awesome (the above isn't me, for reference).

Looking forward to seeing your thoughts. We haven't started Torts or Contracts yet (and we have Civil Procedure, not Crim), and have a legal methods class for the next couple weeks. It's been fun so far -- we're doing Morrison v. Olson today, and PPSP v. Casey on Wednesday.

Will need to check out US v. Dougherty.

Anyway, I also have intermittent net access for the time being, but will drop you more of a line soon...

I am Anonymous. Please change your commenting permissions; I do not like these yahoos speaking with my name.
